Providence Homes opened its doors in April 1988. John Poulsen, the founder, and owner of Providence Homes was born and raised in Arizona and takes great pride in being part of the community, From the beginning the mission was simple: Rather than striving to be the biggest builder, Providence strives to give customers the best-built home possible at an exceptional price. With this mission in mind, Providence has hired trade partners who pay particular attention to quality and detail and who stand behind their work. More than 5,000 homes and 30 communities later, we continue to make dreams come true one home at a time, We are proud to be a private home builder who remains loyal to Arizona. We hope to see you at one of our communities soon.
Great Construction
We build homes as if we were living in them ourselves. In fact, some of our team members actually live in our homes and communities. Instead of saving a few dollars, we build the right way and with integrity.

As a private home builder since the late 1980s, we have weathered many financial and economic storms including the great recession, many builders were financially forced to close, we did not, and we will continue to build for many more years into the future.
